I devoured this book
The slow burn.
The strangers to friends to lovers.
The caring and gentleness.
The communication
PERFECTION
I don't know how I will ever move on from this story.

I don't know how I will ever move on from this story.
I don’t think I’ve ever read a love story as gentle and soft as this one. The characters rarely talk openly about their relationship or feelings, but they show it in the smallest, most tender ways. It’s the kind of love you might miss if you’re not paying attention, but when you catch it, it hits you right in the heart.
The writing reminded me a lot of Hold Me Under by Riley Nash—full of beautiful, poignant quotes that perfec …Read More

If you’re looking for a feel-good, nerd x jock romance to cleanse your palate between darker, angstier reads, this one’s perfect. It’s sweet and brimming with those “aww” moments that leave you smiling.
My heart is so soft for Ren. He’s pure sunshine—a golden retriever boyfriend in every sense of the term. His patience with Maddox as he sorts through his feelings is nothing short of heart-melting. That said, I had a few minor …Read More

You think you sign up for a steamy, funny and light hearted story. Instead you stay up late till 2 am with tears streaming down your face.
This book is not for everyone. From the start it's obvious what Pixie needs from Bear. And it's more than intimacy. It fits perfectly with the little hints you get from them throughout the four other books.
Overall i really enjoyed this series, much more than i would've expected. I …Read More

I feel like I’ve been repeating myself for the last month about these book boyfriends, but let me tell you: Zac is ranking high on my top-tier book boyfriend list. He’s obsessed with Melody (a mini trope I loooooove) but switches easily between being cocky and having golden retriever characteristics.
Melody hates Zac after what happened the night before she went to college. After 10 years she moves back from the city and a c …Read More

I had trouble with the flow of the plot and the character development. The choices they made didn't seem logical at all to me and got me frustrated more than once.
I do think this has to do with personal preference instead of something the author could've done differently.
Tropes:
Platonic cuddling
Friends to lovers
Only gay for you
Football player x physiotherapist
Age gap (10 years)

Their chemistry and flirting game at the beginning of this book was perfection. It felt very balanced and two sided.
The more the story evolved, I felt like I needed more input from Ash. Sometimes it seemed like he was only there for the spice and in this trope I just enjoy it more if there is more thoughts and feelings behind it. I think I missed the deeper connection between both of them.
The ending made up for it, but not …Read More

Love in the library lights: The night shift is a heartwarming tale of a bookworm, a basketball player and the romance that unfolds.
3.5 stars
Overall: The Night Shift is a cute and fluffy story with a very relatable female main character for us romance girlies. Topped with a male main character who is the true definition of a golden retriever boyfriend, it’s a perfect read on a cold, free Sunday.

Character-focused| Good writing, sometimes repetitive words | Dual pov | Lovable characters | A non-cliché ending with an open epilogue
Overall: I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more about Tom in the next book!

I couldn’t put this book down. Although I’m usually not a huge fan of the single mom trope, I gobbled this one up.
The MC’s both have my heart as they communicate and act the age they are, which is a big plus for me. To be honest, you should just read it for them… Knox is a grumpy but kind man. He’s patient, honest, protective and caring. Add his cooking skills and tattoos in the mix and tell me he’s not a perfect …Read More

I think I will need to come back to give this a proper review but for now, this will have to do.
Tropes:
Single dad x nanny
Age gap (7 years)

I'm the only one to blame for this low rating.
As always I went in blind and that was a mistake.
I was expecting roommates where one helps the other get a good grade with some experimenting on the side.
What I got was a lot of spice and no plot.
