Husband Material

Review by Sunshine and rain

Husband Material
Alexis Hall

OMG. How is it possible for a sequel to suck this hard? And not in a good way.
Alexis Hall is a fantastic writer, which makes this even worse. I had to finish this twaddle even though the main characters are self-loathing, self-absorbed mumpies, and the plot is mainly about other people and how they enable or extend the neuroses of Luc. I struggled through it simply because it was so well written (in theory).
By the end, I didn’t care what happened to either of these saps. Thank heavens for small mercies, as the ending would have been particularly galling if I cared.

I don’t even know what else to say. Wow
