I didn’t hate this. I think in someways it has some interesting thoughts on perusing dreams and looking out for signs.

Overall I thought it was pretty weak. The fact that people treat this as some sort of divine work is incredibly off putting. There’s a weird fandom behind this book and it kinda ruins my interpretation of the book.

It’s a simple story. Keep trying, someone will give up but not you. You’re “The Boy”. Everybod …Read More

It was short. Real short. The kinda short that makes a lady unhappy when you take down your pants and she’s expecting a king sized Snickers bar and you’re packing a fun size single Kit-Kat.

Harlan Ellison was crazy. A true legend. Honestly I had never read this story until now. I had remembered the drama around the movie, In Time. Allegedly, that film store from this book. It was a crock of shit, and it ended with Ellison en …Read More

First I must say that this was a dark read.

Unfortunately I had no idea what to expect.

Can’t blame myself I knew it would be hard.

Kindle ended up crashing while reading!

Ordered a new Kindle!

First I found that it couldn’t be delivered!

Finally I decided on getting a Kobo.

Now it took nearly an hour to get it set.

Every time I loaded a book it gave errors.

Really got tired of all of it!

Damn near lost my mind!

Shit on the floor …Read More

It’s surprising to read the book, that lead to play, the lead to the silent movie, that lead to the feature length movie, that lead to the spinoff prequel book, that lead to the play, that lead to the two part film adaptation.

125 years has passed between the writing of the book and my review. I have vague memories reading the book when I was in 4th grade but I don’t think I finished it. I think I was more gobsmacked by the …Read More

What an odd book. Firstly, I’m not a friend of the bug. I’m not sure why this exists other than as a sequel of sorts to the musical. It’d probably mean more if I would have seen the play.

So many odd choices. Having it take place in the real world vs Oz was…. Definitely a choice.

Unlike the last Oz book this reads like a book from the turn of the 20 century. I was disappointed and surprised by the slurs in this. Didn’t expec …Read More

Never actually read it.

Just so everyone knows. The cover is cropped from the cover of the Xbox 360 launch title Condemned: Criminal Origins.

It was a decent game. From Monolith, the same people that made F.E.A.R. Condemned: Criminal Origins is that game where you’re an FBI agent, except instead of doing cool CSI stuff or arresting bad guys, you mostly wander through buildings that look like they were condemned during the Ci …Read More

This was a frustrating book to read. Let alone try to find some stable critique of it. Regardless your actual political beliefs, I wasn’t overly impressed with this book. It’s fairly pulpy and reads as such.

There’s a little too casual nature of it. I found it really off putting when either Jake or Alex wrote about someone being like “Hoooooly Shit, Biden’s old”. Like I got it, he’s an old geezer, I just don’t see the need t …Read More
