Never actually read it.

Just so everyone knows. The cover is cropped from the cover of the Xbox 360 launch title Condemned: Criminal Origins.

It was a decent game. From Monolith, the same people that made F.E.A.R. Condemned: Criminal Origins is that game where you’re an FBI agent, except instead of doing cool CSI stuff or arresting bad guys, you mostly wander through buildings that look like they were condemned during the Ci …Read More

This was one of the first technical books I ever read and it opened my eyes to how everything in a computer works together, I would highly recommend it to anyone interested in a high level a-z overview of how computers work

Lots of interesting ideas but feels a little drawn out and disconnected at times

He is a priest. She is a pole dancer.
That should’ve been the line I didn’t cross—
but here we are: spiritually compromised and completely obsessed.
McIntire knew exactly what she was doing. And she did it anyway.

SCANDALOUS! I love it.

Enchantra had so much potential—but it honestly read like an early draft of Phantasma… or just a draft in general.

The real saving grace? Vivi and Rowen’s banter. Their dynamic had sparks, and it’s what kept me turning pages.

But beyond that, I wanted more. More from the trials. More depth to the premise. More layers in the worldbuilding and the magic system. Everything felt surface-level—especially in the later chapters, wher …Read More

I didn’t hate this. I think in someways it has some interesting thoughts on perusing dreams and looking out for signs.

Overall I thought it was pretty weak. The fact that people treat this as some sort of divine work is incredibly off putting. There’s a weird fandom behind this book and it kinda ruins my interpretation of the book.

It’s a simple story. Keep trying, someone will give up but not you. You’re “The Boy”. Everybod …Read More

The writing was extremely boring. I skimmed through a lot. Between trying to love the book and simultaneously hating the pace and writing, I eventually lost the meaning entirely.

What I was happy about?
It was a quick read.

Can I tell you what happened?
No, not really.

I, for whatever reason decided to take for a spin this book on my new Kobo Libra Color. I’m coming from an older 2017 era Paperwhite that I still love but got annoyed at being laggy and dumb.

Bob Honey was such an annoying book to read. The verbose vocabulary of Mr. Sean Penn is so tart and spunky. He’s so ingenious and voluminous. He’s …Read More
