I kinda expected goofy shenanigans and the usual fluff going in, but this story hit me with hidden identity, surprising amount of longing, overlooked-side-characters-turned-main-characters and an actual heated couple's fight complete with tears in my fluffy Sadenverse books? I love it.
And oh, Cohen. The sweet, confused goofball himbo. The sadist in me really enjoy seeing him go through various trials of building a relationship with a troublesome complicated person like Seth lmao. I like Seth, too, surprisingly. I don't usually care for the nerd type, but he's such a self-sabotaging mess I kinda love it.
