I absolutely LOVED this book! This type of sci-fi is tailored exactly to my taste, I felt pure joy while reading and am only sad because it's over. The book is full of science, adventure, humor, horror and hope. I wish this book had been recommended to me earlier so I didn't waste time reading Azimov.

It was meh. Not the sci-fi I enjoy, a lot of books like this one get categorized as "science fiction" when in fact, they have no science in them. It's just an absurd comedy set in space.

The worst book I've ever read. I had such high expectations, the book has high ratings but it turned out to be a dull and boring story for me, the author failed to make me care about anything that was going on. Some aspects were promising and some ideas I found interesting but the story drags, there are no characters to follow and sympathise with. Truly baffling to me how it is considered to be a classic.

I enjoyed reading the book though had to roll my eyes a few times because the book is a bit cheesy.

The stories were engaging but there were too many rapes, sexual harassments, objectifications of women and nasty comments. Jaskier was especially annoying and the fact that he is the best friend of Geralt made me lose the little respect I had for him. At times I felt like I was reading some man's dirty fantasy fetishes.

I’m actually not as annoyed by the descriptions of Mars as most of the reviewers seem to be. What bored me to tears was the story and the characters. While some aspects were engaging and promising and managed to pull me in, most of the book was very bland. Author likes to tell us something exiting and dramatic happened instead of putting us in the center of the action. Also, it’s such an American take on colonisati …Read More

You need therapy because your father gifted you a porch swing that's too big? Jesus Christ people...
It's all a bunch of subjective bullshit, anecdotes. How can you remember what it was like when you were 7 and you're in your 40s now? Are you sure it really happened and you're not making this up or reimagining it based on your current experiences?

It started promising but right about the middle it went downhill. Nothing really happens, they just sit around and eat string beans. Also, how could they have had running water without any electricity are water pumps magic powered? Oh and gas water boiler wouldn't work without electricity too.
