I loved the emphasis on consent and how Ez and Wes make Jett comfortable enough to explore his sexuality and his needs in a safe setting. I wasn’t sure what to expect because this was my first MM Farmer book, but I did find it entertaining. I wouldn’t go so far as to say that this is a dark romance, there was one kidnapping scene, in addition to the kidnapping role-play, but it was resolved fairly quickly without a lot of angst or suspense. But this is one of those books that doesn’t take itself too seriously and is meant to be enjoyed for what it is.

Let me start by saying that this isn’t my usual type of book. That being said, I enjoyed the change of pace! This was a cute friends to lovers story where it’s so obvious to everyone except the MCs that they are in love. Dex and Austin’s fake dates were cute…then steamy.
