Jun 28I've waited a long time before getting into Lover Boy because I knew it would never live up to Pretty Boy for me. I fear I was right.
I think this book could have worked better if the author had given themselves more time. Some parts felt quite repetitive and the characters missed a lot of depth for me...
Although I could understand Cade's pining over Liam, the way he talked about him bothered me immensely. And Liam himself almost seems like a different character than how he was in his own book..
I might give Baby's story a chance but probably not soon.
