There’s no such thing as a good person politician which made this a little hard to read lol, but this was super entertaining, clever, and had the best representation of people my age (early 20s) that I have ever read in my life. The characters are likable and it provides a nice escapist fantasy to the Trump world we live in. Soooo, 4 stars. I recommend!

I’ll be honest I’m DNFing at 60% because I’ve been reading this forever and I just don’t wanna finish it anymore. But what I did read was entertaining enough. I’ve just lost interest in the wolf politics of it all lol. It was nice to see Ian and Nate together from someone else’s perspective.

just realized I never added this book to my shelves. I own this! I bought it forever ago. Richard Siken is my favorite poet, and a lot of these poems are my favorites of all time. I recommend this collection to everyone who can read, and if you can't read, then learn, specifically to read his stuff. so, so good.

I can’t say that I would recommend that anyone else read this. But I certainly did, and 5 stars is pretty hard to pull out of me. Well done, is all I can say. Wow.

I really enjoy books where even if the plot feels a bit weird or contrived, the characters come alive on the page and act like real people. plus let’s be honest I think I tend to prefer plots that are just weird. whaling, shifting power dynamics, pining, past abuses, strong female characters (a rare find in a MM book), it’s all good fun. I just really enjoyed the ride.

dnfed because it was super boring and I didn’t like the characterizations of Russ or Wade enough to keep going, even though I’d love a wholesome trauma recovery story done right… Anyway, the 2 chapter long rape was a fun read I guess.
