I’m not much of a book reviewer, but I have been an avid fan of the movies since childhood. The book differs a bit from the movie, but I wont spoil it. I did however like a lot that the book padded out Ian Malcoms character a lot with his interesting theories about science. A fun little nugget that I found in the book was reused in the 2025 version of the movie. Can highly recommend this book if you like the movies.

A lovley story (as much as it can be in a post apocalyptic world) about Hedvig coming of age while dealing with hardships, anxiety, self doubt and survival when everyone else is gone.

I had to hold back tears at several points in the book.
