Simple and straightforward. By more than halfway, you can already figure out the bigger picture, but still, I think the execution helped a lot in keeping it interesting.

Eternity is such a scary concept.
Sometimes, the way to live is to take things slowly—one at a time—all whilst continuing to work on the things we want to answer or achieve for ourselves. It's not a new idea but nonetheless still relevant.
I love this book much more than the first one. It's short, very easy to read and it gives off a gentle and warm feeling.
A lot of us should try to be more like Mosscap.

It was entertaining enough for someone to finish but it didn't particularly left a lasting impact on me. It's just fine

Reminds me of the time when I was a kid and I used to believe that everyone was wrong except for me. I was such a self centered child and in some ways, I still am.

I don't know if it's the ber-months affecting me or what but I cried during the epilogue. Paul what a brave man you were.

I love how melodic and poetic the book was. It's not just about race but also about freedom, trust, and love.

I'm not sure if I understand the message it was trying to convey at the end but still, this was an interesting read. This seems to be more like a prologue to a longer story which makes sense since it is a part of a duology(?).

Maybe it's me that's the problem but the book just goes on without anything happening. I think revealing from the very start that Giovanni was sentenced to death revealed too much. It doesn't leave much to be desired anymore. This book could've been told for half the pages it has.
