We Are Legion

Review by LM:)

Sep 13, 2020
We Are Legion
Dennis E. Taylor

This was an extremely creative book. Seriously, 3 or 4 times I was thrown for a loop at how much further it went when I thought Taylor had already pushed it to the limit. Mostly convincing. Well-researched. Hard sci-fi; classical style.

Only a few minor complaints:

Yes, I like that it's light-hearted - very cute - but I'm not really into the constant pop culture references. A few are fine, but it was too much.

Lacking in novel . . . artistry. Not very tightly constructed. A bit amateur, but there's a lot to make up for that.

No women? There were a million opportunities, even for minor characters, so it seemed a bit weird. Too macho?
