Review by Exie
Jul 2This reminded me a lot of Halfling (by SE Wendel) so of COURSE I loved every minute of it. Love a road trip romance. Love a friends-to-lovers story.
I appreciated that the main character was out of touch and uppity rather than the cut & paste sassy main characters I see so much of.
Oskar was perfect, their dialogue and chemistry was perfect, I’ve read almost 100 books halfway through the year and this is one of the easiest five stars I’ve doled out yet. (Roughly 10 of those reads have been 5-stars, fwiw). Anyway. Wonderful read, great prose, no notes.
