The Henchmen of Zenda

Review by Charlemagne

The Henchmen of Zenda
K.J. Charles

Oh i loved this so much. the style of writing as being told by Jasper as he wrote it all down was something i really enjoyed. The fact that most everyone was a villian in their own right, no one was a truly good person was so much fun, and the continuous changing of sides the characters went through while learning more about the motives and goals of those in power was really interesting - I honestly kept wondering if Rupert was actually going to betray Jasper or not in some way.
And my god the romance........ they want each other so bad but are non-monogamous unlike other romance novels. That they had a strong love and kept returning to each other despite seeking other companionship and making it clear to each other they had no wish to be locked in. I already want to re-read this just to feel the excitement and hear Jasper's thoughts again.
