Color Me In

Review by Sanna

Jun 18, 2024
Color Me In
Riley Hart

DNF at 66%.
I've loved other books by Riley Hart but she needs to stay in her lane, that lane being NOT humor. My God was the "humorous" dialog between the two MCs so cringe. It hit me early on but I really liked the premise of the book and wanted to push through, but I just couldn't. Every time one of them "joked" or "chuckled" or "cracked up" I was pulled out of the story. You want comedic banter in MM romance then go with Rachel Reid, Alice Winters, or Eden Finley. They are queens of their craft of making truly lovable and hilarious characters.
