Jan 20, 2014This was a very interesting premise. The "cadre of technologically advanced mercenaries fighting for native people they actually rather despise" has obvious modern analogues, but the artificial limits on the technology employed also added some interesting angles.
Well worth reading if you like military sci-fi etc.
