Emmelie Pettersén Uggla (E.P. Uggla) is a Swedish dystopian author who writes both for adults and young adults. She is born in the Southern parts of Sweden but now lives outside of Stockholm. She is a lawyer but has also studied a great deal of psychology and history of ideas. She has also studied Creative writing at Harvard extension school in Boston.

She debuted with the dystopian horror novel First Fall: Blue Dawn in 2017. The second book in the same series, First Fall: Red Dusk came in 2020.

In January 2021 her third book, What’s wrong with Eden, a dystopian young adult novel, was published by Bonnier Carlsen. The upcoming sequel, The Fall from Eden, will be published by Bonnier Carlsen in January 2023.
