The Raven King

The Raven King
Maggie Stiefvater

5/5

This series is just so beautiful. I read the first three books a few years ago, one after the other, when the last one wasn't out yet. Then when it finally arrived, for one reason or another (mainly because I didn't remember a lot from the previous books and hadn't time to reread them, but also because I unconsciously didn't want it to end) I postponed reading it again and again. Then a while back I finally decided to reread them and finish it once and for all. So I did it. Of course when I was more than halfway through the last book I again slowly stopped, unconsciously, to prolong it.

That being said. I just like everything about these books. The writing, the characters, the atmosphere. It truly feels like another world but at the same time, just our world but where anything it's possible. And the relationships among the characters warm my heart. Not just the romantic ones, but also their unwavering friendship.

Albeit I'm sad that it's over, I'm glad I finished it. I know it will be one of those books I'll cherish forever.
